The CXA examination
- Several times a year, HFI offers a two and a half hour online exam
- The HFI-CUA certification is a prerequisite for the CXA exam
- If you do not pass the exam, you can retake it within six months at no extra cost

What you will receive after passing the CXA exam
You become an HFI-Certified User Experience Analyst, and receive:
- An authenticated certificate
- Your name added to the HFI website CXA list
- A CXA icon with your name and certification number, upon request

No. If you can pass the exam you will be certified. In fact, you can attempt the exam without taking any of the courses. In this case the cost of the CXA exam is $850. Of course, the exams are rigorous.
Yes. There is a two and a half hour time limit for taking the certification exam.
